My plinking is done at a local conservation range, and while it has a 25, 50 and 100 set up for various weapons. I tend to notice that people use large caliber weapons at the 25. The target area is "rubber" like a flattened tire?

Anywho, they are destroying the range for those who actually want to use it for what it is meant for.

Is there something that can be done? said? reported?

I used to frequent one of those ranges. Great material; lasts a long time. I wouldn't be toooooo worried about it as I'm fairly certain the stuff is easily replacable. If you're worried, I'd be observant, take down a license plate number, and immediately call the dept number.

Given the isolated nature of some of those ranges, I would be hesitant to "educate" someone. Glares, etc. would be as far as I would go...
