I have a Toshiba laptop and the screen is crapped out.

Would like to connect it to my 55" Samsung HDTV to use as a monitor.

The TV has a PC connection, but would like to not have a super long cord connecting the two.

Any way to do a wireless connection?

    Thanks

Yes, there is a device that connects data projectors to laptops via 802.11 wireless. You can use same device for TV. not only you can transmit video, but also audio. Is made by ViewSonic.

I also have a i s400 port. From what I read briefly it is a 1394 firewire port.

Also said something about being used for HD.

Anyway to connect this to my HDTV as a monitor?

    Thanks

I really like the idea of a wireless keyboard and leaving the laptop up by the TV.
