In light of this thread: http://www.glocktalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=383026 , I want to go out on a limb (because the results have not been posted yet!) and congratulate Team Shooters Paradise GSSF on first place in Amateur Civillian at Waldorf, Maryland last weekend.

I also want to congratulate the team on a new Amateur Civillian Team record of 235.00. This narrowly beats the old record of 235.97 (held by The Trigger Nuts: Brentlinger, Foley and Kifer; Lexington, KY 2003).

If Team Shooters Paradise GSSF doesn't win, I'll have egg on my face!!!

If you were to score it the OLD way would it still be a record ??? Just asking

No, it definitely would not be a record under the old scoring system.

I don't think it's fair to record holders under the previous scoring system to compare the two like I did. But, I see that records under the old and new scoring system are grouped together at the GSSF Hall of Fame (with a "*" next to the number to show a new system score).

Congrats from me too, that averages to 78.3333 per shooter. It's tough to get three people to post those kinds of scores at the same match. Great shooting... ;c

Hey Joe, who are the team members of Team Shooters Paradise Team 1? I think they fielded two teams and I believe the 235.00 was posted by Team 1. I saw in another post where SocomCen posted a 75.07 for this team. What were the other scores. Like I said in another reply, three scores averaging 78.XXX is strong. Congrats again...

Thanks Triggerpresser & everyone else for the congrats; I am D.C. Johnson of Team Shooters Paradise GSSF I and I was lucky enough to shoot on the team with Joe (B. Rhee) and the most recent addition, R. Jensen (SocomCen) who stepped in for Travis Haley at the last minute. Here are two links to a team picture from Waldorf (one from the range forum and one from GlockTalk.com:

In 2004, Team Shooters Paradise GSSF was: B. Rhee, R. Fortney (Driver8M3) and me. We managed to win the Am Civ Team events in Waldorf (as Team Blazer) & PA but could only manage 2nd in OH. Those were our only Team events.

We hope to make at least one & possibly 2 more GSSF this year; likely at either PA, OH, NY or maybe KY. Thanks again guys & thanks also to GSSF, particularly the volunteer ROs who make our sport possible. Regards,

    D.C. Johnson

Yes, Shooters Paradise fielded 2 teams and it was Team 1 that got the record and overall win (hopefully!). The individual scores for Team 1 were:

    R Jensen 75.07
    D Johnson 85.39
    B Rhee 74.54
