I have been trying to keep up with all the posts on the G30 or G30sf, particularly those about trigger bars. I guess I'm confused. Are the FRTB problems happening with both guns or just the G30sf? My G30 has less than 100 rounds through it and has been flawless but it did have some marks on the trigger bar which I polished out. I am just wondering what to expect because this gun handles and shoots as good as any I have ever owned.

I've heard reports on both models, but mainly the 30sf. I know Glock changed the 30sf trigger bar to a 4256-1- to address the FTRTB issues. But I am not aware of any changes made at all to the standard 30.

I'd say your gun is good to go and not to worry about it.

Where did you get your information about changing the trigger bar to address FTRTB issue. My 4256-1 trigger bar is smooth faced instead of the target type ribbed bar required for enough points to get the G30 imported orginally.

Don't worry about unless you are having the problems. My G30, NWX, has the newest TB, -1- I have a slight, scratch on mine too. It works flawlessly and I have 100% faith it will continue too. You should expect yours to continue to work flawlessly as well. If you hadn't read about the minor issues here you never would have noticed. Don't worry about it!

My 30SF had the ribs... with the -1 trigger bar. My 21SF has a smooth trigger also with a -1.

I've never heard about any issues with the standard 30. All the issues have been with the 30SF.

I agree. My 30SF was FTRB about 4 times every 10 (40%) rounds. If you're shooting no failures in 100 rounds you're probably GTG.
