Are the C models still being produced? I have no need for one but I'm just curious......
I'm going to go out on a limb and say no, but as you know they are still available. Just speculation on my part.
Speculation based off me looking for a 19C and not being given the option to order one....but I did find it in a blue label when my LGS found one hidden in the back.
They can still be ordered via the most recent "Law Enforcement Discount Price Sheet" (which is how GLOCK Certified Armorers and law enforcement order directly from GLOCK, Inc.), so I'd definitely say that they are still being produced. They are only available on Gen3 models. GLOCK hasn't made any statements on whether or not Gen4 "C" models will be produced.
Interesting...I wasn't given that option.
Glock personnel have strongly suggested that C models will not be produced in Gen4. I suspect sales are lackluster - until it's officially announced that Gen4 Cs won't be produced. Then Gen3 C sales will take off like the ODs.
That was my line of thinking as well. I'll call Glock on Monday and see if they'd let me purchase one under the blue label program (just because I want to know now!) .
Don't waste your time.
If you qualify for the blue label program, then you don't have to call. And you'd already know that.
If you DON'T qualify, a call is not going to "let you in". Otherwise, everybody and their brother would be doing it. You do realize the blue label program gets you a gun for $400 or so, right? At least, the models like a G17/19/26/22/23/27. If you could just "get one" with a call, they'd not be selling any at retail price.
I'll repeat.... don't waste your time calling asking if you can get one that way if you don't qualify. AIN'T gonna happen.
heck yes, why would they stop??
I just purchased a 19c at my local lgs and they have another in stock,
The basic Cs however are $422 LE - about $24 more than non-Cs.
Um.... I do qualify and I do realize how the ordering process works. But I do want to call to see if they have any sitting around Smyrna or if I'll have to wait until God knows when and they make a batch. If they've got them, I'll probably send the form in. If they say, 'we don't have an expected date yet' then I won't. Seems like it's worth a call to me...
Well let us know what the actual deal is. I'm curious to see if they are still making them.
Just got off the phone with Glock. They assured me they had a bunch at the factory and were still planning on producing Gen3 compensated models.
Good info thanks
