Canon S80, Canon A620, Canon G6, Nikon D50.
Rate, rank or compare.
They're all dramatically different. That's like comparing Mini Cooper S with a pickup truck. What are you trying to do?
Forget the G6, it is no longer available, and it is probably one of the finest cameras ever made. 7MPs.
It had a fixed lens but what a lens. F:2 and 4x range which is unheard of in non SLR cameras. And a hotshoe for studio work. To me it compared to a Leica Rangefinder film camers but with a 4x zoom lens.
The others are all nice for their type.
The D50 is big and not a carry around everyday camera. It has a lot of versatility. Great camera for the money or if you have Nikkor lenses from your film Nikon SLRs sitting around.
The others are top of their class or type. The A620 has a loyal following and is technically a fine camera. The S80 gives good photos too.
If you are a photography student or want to do art with a camera, I would go for the D50. Otherwise the others should serve you well for years. All nice equipment.
Some work done by a G6...
