I just installed my CQB Compact slide assy on my CQB 5" Frame. Other than the fact that the slide cut doesn't exactly line up with the dustcover exactly, it seems to be good to go. It appears I have made a Professional. Anyone else ever done such?

That's basically what Baer does and not cut down the frame rails to commander size.

That is what I thought. It looks like crap, but it would work ina pinch.

The dustcover would be shorter if you throw a 5" slide on the professional, or are you saying you should've bought a pro over a compact?

LB uses a full frame and cuts the dust cover down for the Commanche.

I was saying I should have bought a pro instead of a 5". My 5" is a LW bob frame. The Pro length just feels better balanced. I have had a few Commanders in the past. Should have went with that.

I freaking LOVE the CQB Compact. Perfect size and feel for a carry gun.

Problem is, I have hands like a gorilla. The compact is just too small for me to like.
