I’m sure this has happened to fellow members that use the Classifieds forum here at GT. You post an item for sale, an interested party PM’s, emails or both regarding your item and of course – to negotiate the price down. No problem there – but where the COMMON COURTESY comes in to play is when you respond back with a counter offer and the person on the receiving end makes no effort to reply back – so you are left wondering: A) Are they away from their computer, B) Thinking about it, or C) Have already said to themselves – no way - I’ll find a better deal.

If it is C) – a simple No Thanks or Good Luck with your sale – reply would be the civil way to end it. I have always let whoever I was dealing with know if I were no longer interested in a certain item. I would appreciate common courtesy back. Most folks are great but the few who keep you hanging without a response back can take a lesson or two in common courtesy.

    Ok...now I feel better

I've had the same thing happen. Very frustrating.

I always get back as soon as possible. I understand your feeling that way.
