There you go. The robber should have never turned around and pointed that gun at Dad!
He should have kept on running... Better yet he should have gotten a job.

I am somewhat surprised that the Dad was not charged with ADW for shooting at the fleeing felon.

    ??

"Smith handed over all the money he had and the robber and took off on foot, but then reportedly pointed the gun back at the father and his baby, according WBNS-TV."

At the point the robber re-engaged, he was no longer fleeing.

This happened in the Hilltop area on the west side apparently. Nice area from the looks of it, though one commenter said it is a "scary neighborhood with MS-13 gang".

I had that thought, too. But I was told that once the gunman stopped running and turned to face the CCWer, he became a legitimate target again. Just shoot the SOB until he is down and not moving.

How ironic that I refound this thread on the same day the New York Slimes published the editorial "The Concealed Carry Fantasy".

The pacifists say that if we give robbers what they want they won't hurt us. But this guy turns back and points his weapon after he got away with his loot. Maybe armed robbers aren't pacifists?

The pacifists can kiss my butt. Robbers are threatening death or GBI to their victims. Shoot them twice in the chest and once in the forehead.
