Define good condition sir. Has it undergone any gunsmithing? Colts are worth more if they're bone stock.

Gunsmithing consists of a trigger job, and a smallish plastic magwell...besides that it doesn't seem to have any more modifications. The rear sights are still "Ellison" and the front sight is fixed to the slide. I really don't know how to define what good condition is...except that it has no rust and the previous owner had it either blued or "black chromed". The slide has a shiny finish while the receiver has a matte finish. My friend has never shot this pistol and it comes with a Wilson mag (don't know if this is orig or not). I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.

someone please correct me if i am mistaken, but i believe elliason adjustable sights are oem for gold cup and national match colt 1911's. i think the small plastic magwell is also oem.

so that particular pistol is probably worth more than the usual series 70 and 80 1911's we see in the buy and sell threads.

Ok Melbu, thanks so much. Bukas picturan ko. Based from the pictures you posted, the only difference I see are the sights, both front and rear plus the trigger. Yung sa friend ko medyo "skeletonized" yung trigger with one long hole going vertically and its adjustable. Anyways, I'll try to post pics asap nalang. Thanks so much again sir! Really appreciate it:supergrin:

skeletonized one long hole vertically and adjustable trigger is
a sign of a Gold Cup. Sounds like a series70 Gold cup you have there sir.

plastic mag well is not oem on a series 70 nor on a series 80. elliason sights are oem, except for the new goldcups, which I think are fitted with bomar already and commander type hammers.

Elliason adjustable sights are OEM for the Gold Cups. They also come with Collet barrel bushings.

A close friend of mine was offering his Series '70 Gold Cup National Match .38 Super (with an extra brand new Barsto barrel) for P70,000 way back in 1995. I wanted it badly, but didn't have the $$$.
