    I like them.

    Titanium

The titanium and FDE are my favorites.

These were refinished by Bobby Smith of SALBO Arms. Sadly, Bobby passed away on the 30th. I only spoke to him on the phone, but he was a good guy and a pleasure to work with and talk to. He always made sure I was happy with his work. He was an Army paratrooper who broke his back during a jump in the 70's I believe it was. RIP Friend.

Chrome or nickle, I can't decide.

I think this is a reblue.

These are as they were when I purchased them.

I've got one I picked up a few years back that's been refinished.

Nicely done but not sure if it's a reblue or been parkerized.

I've had mine for about three years now and it's perhaps my favorite gun to carry and to shoot. I got an El Paso Saddlery hoster for it. It was made in 1936 and almost all of the blueing is gone but it looks fantastic and have never, ever, had any problems with it. They are fantastic guns.

All of them shoot great, very accurate for 90 year old firearms. The 1903 is on my CCW. They carry great too. They are getting pricy. I've been working on this project for a long time. You used to be able to get them at the shows for $250.

You guys all have very nice examples.

Bobby was working on a Colt Vest Pocket .25 for me when he passed. His daughter is sending me the box of parts. It had been blasted and parked. I was going to have him do it in Titanium. I'll still get it done at some point.

I have a 1908 made in 1922 and it is a very sweet little pistol. I need to get some pics of it soon.

I recently inherited my father's 1903. Mine was manufactured in 1912, and still shoots perfectly. Not bad for a nearly 100 year old gun!

Does anyone know of a reputable gunsmith that could refinish my Colt as well as those examples above?

I've had several guns refinished by Bobby Smith including two 1903's and one Remington M51. Bobby was certainly great to work with, he'll be missed.

This is one of my 1903's that Bobby refinished in OD green.

Here's another one from my collection that is in it's original Colt blue.

I have a 1908 Vest Pocket to go along with my 1903. The 1903 was made in 1918 and it work perfectly. I've never had a problem with it and I shot hollow points sometimes. I'd like to have them both refinished in the same color. Was this expensive? And how long did it take? All of the guns shown are beautiful. Thanks for showing them.

Those are nice Colt's Buck. I've seen them on here before. Your wife's gun would be an excellent BBQ gun.

    Very nice 1903s.

I'm thinking of doing something similar with my Vest Pocket. I just have no idea where to go or what kind of finish to use.

The first ones were done in KG Gun Kote. I'll find another refinisher to do my vest pocket .25 in titanium.
