    Howdy all,

I know there are some folks on here that like the Colt 1903 32 ACP pistols. I finally had some time to grab mine and snap a few pics... (sorry for the blurry one)

I'm not sure if it's ever been fired...

The NY pistol permit for it is dated 1924...

    Box end...

Another Colt I had to get a picture of - 1st edition Detective Special with Mother of Pearl grips...

More pics to come as I go through the safe...

    Take care,
    Bob S.

That Colt is sweet! Is that the one Patton carried? I could have sworn he had one in the movie with George C Scott. Hey- didn't he also say that "..only a pimp in a Louisiana whore house would carry a pearl-handled pistol.."

I don't suppose you'd be willing to photocopy the manual for me would you? I inherited a 1903 from my father when he passed away in January. Let me know!

Thanks - I actually tried to talk the fellow into keeping it as a family heirloom, but he wanted to trade it and a old S&W Safety Hammerless for a Ruger .357 DA pistol. He had no use "fot this OLD crap"

I hear there's good money in that....

    Take care,
    Bob S.

You have a very nice looking little Colt.

I have had a fondness for the Colt Pocket Pistols for a few years. My wife ended up absconding with one of them for her carry gun.

It really would matter HOW much it'd cost, but I can't help but think if they did a 5000 run in .32 and .380 they'd sell 'em all in one year. Even at 1000-1200 each..

People on here would complain about the caliber.

I'll bet people would sing a different tune about .32 and .380 ballistics if they were half the price of 9mm.:whistling:

I enjoyed that...thanks for posting the pics.

Whoever signed the documents had a fountain pen with a very flexible nib. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

    Beautiful Colts!

A co-worker showed up at my house one day with a bag a parts his neighbor had given him. After I had reassembled the parts, he had himself a Colt .32 hammerless, just like the OP's.

Okay, it wasn't just like the OP's... it was pitted and rusty and scratched, with little bluing left. It shoots, but it's no collector's prize.

Nice 1903. I've been looking for a good one for a while, looks like you found one.

Beautiful and even today the feature set is hard to beat in a pocket pistol caliber -- crisp, accuracy-promoting SA trigger in particular.

Colt had a really incredible combination of innovation and quality, prior to WW2.
