My comment on the page was,"I think it is typical for a liberal to just regurgitate what they have digested."
Your sig line makes that even more amusing
I always thought he was a hack, now we know.
I suspect that if the article had been about something other than the media's sacred cow topic of gun control, he would have been fired outright instead of suspended. But since he was bloviating about the need for more gun control, he'll eventually get a pass.
This, for the hippie socialists, is just another example of their concept of:
'There are no morals, no ethics when it comes to ideology. Victory at all and any cost and if you're caught lying, cheating and stealing in pursuit of social justice, take a paid vacation and in a week we will present the useful idiots a new shiny object to gape at and all sins are forgotten if not forgiven.'
It is instructive that nearly everyone caught plagiarizing is a "progressive". But this dovetails perfectly with the "bird call" repetitions we hear so often from the "progressive" mainstream media and provides insight into their jackboot, lockstep with "progressive" Party line discipline.
Back in 2008 when Barack Obama won the Iowa caucasus the "progressive" media called on Hillary Clinton to issue a "valedictory" concession speech. Over the course of the following week the Obama Media celebrities repeatedly used the term "valedictory", confirming that they're all on the same talking points page.
Since then we've heard a particular talking points buzzword repeated in unison by the same "bird call" Obama Media celebrities whose jobs hinge on how closely they conform to "progressive" Party dictates.
This is the sad state that has become of a once-independent Fourth Estate and a once-vibrant Democrat Party. Both have been replaced by a neo-Stalinist apparatus that forces weak-minded individuals to tow the Party line to maintain their lucrative careers.
I'll look up the quote from Edvard Schvardnadze's biography of Josef Stalin on how he was able to seduce intellectuals before he ordered their liquidation in the basement of KGB prisons.
I sincerely regret...
that I got caught.
