I have a CMMG .22 Conversion kit and have been very happy with it. My son has one and my son-in-law has two and they are very happy with them. I think that I am in the market for an extra. Palmetto has the regular CMMG kit with 3 mags for $169 or the stainless with 3 mags for $199. I clean and lube the kit after every shooting session and if it is a long session, pull the bolt carrier/conversion assembly out and spray with CLP, wipe, and get back to work. What would be the benefit of the Stainless?

Supposedly easier to clean up. Meehhh, I've been using the original for over a year and have no issues and A LOT of rounds through it.

When I got my standard CMMG kit, I deburred every part.
I then lightly hand polished the flats. It ran like a top from day one.
