Please go to this site and click the purple and white square just below the cat's nose. Each click will provide about six bowls of food to rescued animals. While your there read about the sponsers and owners of the site. If you see an interesting item to purchase that will provide even more food for rescued animals. You can visit this site and click the "Feed an Animal" often, the more you visit the more the donated food from the sponsers.

    Thank you for your consideration!

Clicking the link is over half a bowl of food, at no cost to you. I saved it to my favorites, thanks, that's a good thing going there.

Maybe we should sticky this thread?????

Anybody know how a rescue group can receive these donations? I work with a rescue group that has their 501c3 status and could use some food donations.

FYI, it looks like per their FAQ, you can only get one 'click' counted per day, so don't bother clicking more than once per day. Also it looks like their donation program is limited to a few East Coast big rescues/shelters--the names are listed in the FAQ. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just that I'd rather donate to shelters in my own state/region. YMMV.

A once a day "click" doesn't cost one penny, and you can still donate your money locally. I'll click all free programs I can find.

Is it me, or is it never really explained just where the money comes from, how much money is made for each click, and why (if it is advertisers) they would pay so much for people who aren't buying their products?

I didn't really see the kind of advertising that would, in my mind, be selling products that could fund this click for cash / food site.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could explain what we're seeing.

    Thanks!

    Info from the site:

"Funding for food is paid by site sponsors, whose banners appear after you click the purple button, and goes to our aforementioned charity partners.

The number of animals helped by the site depends on the number of visitors to The Animal Rescue Site. Please click every day, and encourage friends and family members to do so as well. Click here to learn more about us."

I use 2 computers at work, and one at home, so I can 'contribute' 3 times per day.

Check out the other worthy charitable causes that receive donations if you click on their buttons; at the bottom of the Animal Rescue Site.

I try to click all the buttons every day, on all three computers.
