    Gentlemen,
In an effort to park very close to the curb on a busy street I scraped up the hubcaps - on my wife's new car!
I thought of taking fine sandpaper to it but I don't want to muck it up further.

I would appreciate some input on a discrete way to get them looking new again...before she notices :whistling:

Throw them in the trash, not at home.

    Admit nothing.

    Buy alloys. Everybody wins.

i did not realize new cars stil come with wheel covers or hubcaps . just buy her some new big pimpin rims.

honestly if go to sanding on it you make it worse , then you would have to paint it , and then it would look like ****.

if they are plastic wheel covers just buy another set , they should not be to expensive. but sanding, rubbing , all that jazz wont help .

Wheel covers (a set of 4) are $16.88 at Walmart. I bought some yesterday. They're cheaper than the originals but look nearly identical from 5 feet away.

You can buy factory replacements too, try ebay first or other online stores or the junkyard.
