Due to the muzzle brake on my AK-74, I get a ton of build-up on the muzzle that is nearly impossible to clean. Any ideas? I don't want to scratch the barrel, so I haven't taken any measures other than lightly brushing with a brass cleaning toothbrush, which hasn't really proved successful.

If muzzle brake is removable, get some carbon cutter, use brass brush, wipe clean.....nice and shiny again.:wavey:
