Have you tried the Nutty Buddy suppository to reduce inflammation?

Also works if you had Mexican food.

What's your issue with Cipro? It should have done the job. I'm not a Dr. etc. and not providing medical advice, but putting you on the same drug that hasn't done the job doesn't make sense.

Again, not recommending, just suggesting, perhaps an OTC acidopholis (sp) may be in order if you have intestinal issues with intestinal bacteria/yeast.

The first test showed that I did not have a high bacteria count so my Dr. only went with two weeks, we both figured that would take care of it, Cipro is the recommended drug for this..

Yogurt is recommended when taking large amounts bacteria fighting drugs, I just don't like yogurt.

Hiya Dinky. Cipro is indeed the choice for your condition. Sometimes it takes more than one course of treatment to effect a complete cure. I know from personal experience. I like Weight Watchers yogurt, as it is sugar free, (sweetened with Sucralose) and has all of the stuff needed for intestinal health. It tastes good too.

Good luck HM H

After my prostate biopsy, the Urologist prescribed special antibiotics that cost, with insurance, $13 a pill. I had to take 3.

Not medical advise. The prostate is a tough organ to penetrate with antibiotics. When I prescribe it I usually do it for 6-8 wks. In this case failure may not be due to agent failure but insufficient time on target.

Sufficient time on target is a good thing :wavey:
