    Here's the best choice.... http://www.miamirifle-pistol.org/

Joining can kinda be a pain, but it is a very nice place.

There's also a big new indoor range being built on Round Bottom Road in Newtown.

I belong to the Fairfield Sportmans Association. Outdoor, 2 pistol ranges, one rifle range, trap, skeet, archery... competitions...everything. Nice place, great staff. Rarely busy. Cant beat it for $100/year.

I looked at this a while back, but at the time it was a few hundred bucks up front for application fees, new member fees, and annual fees. Is it still the same?

My application fee was deducted from my yearly membership fee. I think it ended up being $190 for the first year, and its 100/year after that.

If you'd like to go check the place out sometime, let me know. I havent been shooting and would like to get out there again before snow season. 5 bucks for guests is all they ask for.

Here you go, a little bit of a drive, but a great place to shoot, and about 1/20th the BS, you have to put up with FSA. Not to mention, has everything to offer for half the price! I will admit, the high power range only goes to 200 yards, if you need farther, Miami Rifle and Pistol is the way to go.

I live in northern Kentucky, just a few miles from Shooters. It is a nice indoor range. If you'd rather shoot outdoors out to 225 yards and don't mind a 45 minute or so drive, check out Randy's Range in Sparta.

Hey sr.. fellow UC Alumni here. I used to belong to Middletown Sportsmans club a few years back (when I had more time to shoot), I loved it. I had shot at Fairfield before but then they shut down the rifle/pistol ranges due to complaining neighbors, apparently that's been smoothed over. From what I heard, Fairfield also had a lot of snobby shotgun shooters who caused issues, again a rumor so who really knows.

I'm not a fan of Target World, limited calibers and I don't enjoy shooting targets with some local idiots with a 12ga mossy held sideways blasting at a paper target 10' away.

If you have an hour drive, I used to live in Springfield and there's a very nice indoor range called Longhorners off of I-70.

As of lately I usually go into KY where a buddy's friend has over 100 acres and we usually do some clay pigeons there.

PM me sometime if you'd like to meet up, I'm in West Chester.

    Chris
