Here is some data from a range session yesterday. Temp was about 80' F, elevation is around 1100'. Wind was blowing pretty good. Might have contributed to the errors on the chono.

Gun was a stock G20sf. Primers were CCI 350. Brass was new Starline.

First up was 200 gr. Nosler loaded to 1.26".

Recoil on the 800x loads seemed to be not as snappy as the Longshot loads. Accuracy was good on both loads.

Finally a round of 135 noslers with 12.0 of 800x, new brass, and CCI 350s

I did not have any smiles on any of the above loads. Primers flattened pretty well on the Buffalo Bore rounds.

WhaleDriver, thanks for the data...Was the Nosler 200's JHP? or FMJ?

This is my first post I’ve been reading you guys for a while and wanted to thank you all who have contributed so much time and valuable information to this reloading forum.
I have a 3gG20, Installed the Lonewolf 5.2" bbl threaded compensator, 22lb wolf recoil spring, a recoil buffer, titanium striker & safety, fulcrum trigger, C-More sts red dot sight.

I was working up loads to use hunting. Using the CED M2 Chronograph.
Temp was 85-88°F ~35-40% ~1800ft. This is what I came up with:
180gn Golden Saber 10.6gn 800X 1516fps (10shot) 12ft from bbl
165gn Golden Saber 11.9gn 800X 1639fps. (10shot) 12ft from bbl
155gn Barns TAC-XP 11.5gn Blue Dot 1535 fps. “ “
CCI 350 LP Magnum Primers. Starline Brass new 1.26OAL

The Barns unleaded will be used for Hog hunting in “the Condor lead free zone….”:crying:
I started @ 8.5gn to be [email protected] gn above my final loads some of the brass were starting to see signs of high pressure so I backed off. No new signs yet.
Without the compensator and using a 20# recoil spring my wrist took a beating!
Now I can shoot for hours!
I Love my Glock. Now what to do next?????? Keep the ideas coming.

It would be nice to get a little more speed from that Barns155gn TAC-XP

HOLY CRAP! Those are some SERIOUS velocities!!! I have never even HEARD of a 180gr bullet doing 1500+fps or a 165gr doing 1600+fps! That's crazy. Just make sure they are safe. I've gone as far as 11.4gr with that 165gr Golden Saber, but that was with a G29, and right at the edge.

I would try 800-X with the Barnes bullets. I have gotten WAY better velocities with 125gr Barnes bullets and 800-X than anything out of my G29. I would start around 8.5-9.0gr, and I bet around 10.5-11.0gr will be a winner. I still can't believe some of those velocities. That's insane!
