I need some help guys. I'm looking for a cool gift for a friend. In the past I've gotten him knives, Leathermans, flashlights, etc. I'm thinking some kind of cool pocket or desk gadget. He loves to shoot/hunt.

    Any suggestions

Yeah, why not? Do you have any suggestions? Can't buy for girlfriends since I got married.

Nothing wrong with getting a gift for a friend. I recently got into wet shaving with a DE safety razor. Closer shaves with less irritation at a fraction of the cost of cartridge razors. Just a thought.

Does he sharpen his knives-a nice waterstone. Does he reload? Does he have a nice handgun that could use a set of grips?

Well, I guess my friends suck then because we never buy each other anything other than a round of drinks.

How about a nice bottle of whiskey? Or a flask to take hunting.

No, I sharpen his knives, he has no interest in it. I wouldn't feel comfortable picking out grips, too personal IMO.

    He doesn't drink

Just to put it in perspective think Extremely conservative 55 year old.
