I did the same thing (bought a hat). I'm going to wear it every time I go to the range in his memory. And my deepest sympathies to his family. We lost a true American Hero.

There are a good group of people critical of Chris Kyle for whatever reasons. Those same people in my opinion have not earned the right, or deserve to breathe the same air Chris did. These same b...........ds have no idea or care of the sacrifices American Veterans have made throughout the world to insure their sorry *** freedoms! Now I feel better. I am terribly sad of the loss of Chris Kyle. He believed in what he was doing.

It would be nice if somebody actually identified her, so people could offer her a personal response.

Sad! America lost a true hero. From a fellow Seviceman and fellow Texan. Rest In Peace Chris....you will not be forgotten.

I met a neighbor for the first time yesterday because a buddy of mine was out smoking on the porch. Turns out the guy was a Marine at Fallujah and knew Chris Kyle. He had nothing but good to say about Chris and believed he saved a lot of Marine lives. He was a little surprised we knew about Chris's murder.

It goes along with the general perspective on mental illness. Most people think that someone that has a mental disease is locked up in the "looney bin" somewhere and every thing is ok. Most don't understand that mental illness is much worse a problem than we think. It can be any thing from PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD or worse. We need to learn how to look out for mental illness and how to get those in need help. It shouldn't be taboo, and people with mental illness shouldn't have to suffer in silence.

Ron Paul has a LOT of goofy ideas, but I agree with him in this case. The glorification of war in America has gone too far and people should back off.
