Great.... they have been talking a lot about war. A few months ago their General told the Chinese Armies war was imminent and to prepare for war now.
China knows that they can't win a Naval engagement with the USN, therefore all their posturing over the South China Sea is moot. The day they decide they have a chance then we will have real problems..
If Paul was to be successful in gutting the military, then war with China would be imminent. The size and ability of our military keeps other countries in check. Paul, if elected, wants to destroy our military.
All their ships are made in China, how good can they be?
Ours probably are too.
The words that we may have to use someday and that will send shivers down Chinese spines and keep them in check:
"A nuclear armed Japan."
Way to hijack the thread..
What you meant to say was, if Ron Paul were the president, other countries wouldn't have to feel threatened by us. How many countries have we invaded?
So what you're saying is; if your douchbag neighbor down the street dosen't percieve you as any threat, he won't break into your house.
Complete fallacy. He wants to cut back to a 06 budget of 500 billion dollars. Yeah, that's a complete gutting. Want to actually stick to the OP?
Don't see a war with China eminent. Maybe a trade war if Mitt wins the presidency.
Nothing hot at least, to many economic issues that would effect both countries negatively. And China has nukes, which changes the game completely.
