Good for them. Let the nfl pander to the left and lose there audience. Something else will take its place.

    I won’t watch anymore.

There were a lot of empty seats there...

I really hate that for the No Fans Left league.

They(those fans) and the majority of the nation are sick of getting told they are all racists and they are finally saying enough is enough quit preaching this to me ..just play the game.

IMO you will never ever fully eliminate racism...it will always be around...because there will always be people with hate and evil in their hearts and you can social justice virtue signal that out of them..there will always be bad evil people..that said..THE MAJORITY of people the VAST MAJORITY isnt racist..and is getting sick of being bludgeoned by virtue signaling organizations..about how bad they are...and about how bad society and America is...they are letting the NFL KNOW...hey PLAY THE GAME we didnt pay to attend a social justice rally!!!

On a side note..I imagine the KC crown is VERY much normal for what they think..im betting right now the NFL is happy that what 97% of their stadiums will be EMPTY this weekend...because imagine packed stadiums around the NFL with 70K + people booing and saying JUST PLAY THE GAME..would sound like and signal.

Im betting somewhere in some Liberal/Socialist/Marxist political think tank control room after seeing that they are going..Oh ****...or at least the NFL now knows as a minimum. That while they may feel a need to virtue signal the fans will be having none of this BS..like I said they are letting the Nation and NFL know..hey we cane for a football game not to be told we are all racists and didnt come to attend a social justice rally..you just know someone somewhere is saying Oh ****....

I’d respect them more if it was recognition of domestic violence.

50 years of reverse discrimination, free stuff and we are back doing the 60's race rioting. Great Society experiment was a failure, so what rational human thinks more of it will work. Until 'All Lives Matter', preferential treatment will keep perpetuating racism and get same unhealthy results.

The lack of butts in seats, whether from disgust or social distancing or both, is directly a lack of cash in the till and less directly a lack of cash in the till for concessions - food, beer, hats, shirts, Programs, etc

How many jobs will this directly cost?

How long will it be until ad revenue for television and radio is down due to reduced audiences for the broadcasts?

And... how long before salaries for team management, coaches, trainers and players are reduced? In due course salary caps for the players may not be an issue.

Yeah, but they still payed for the tickets, and they still showed up. Oh, BTW, the empty seats were because they only sold 16000 tickets. If they sold more, there would have been more fools.
Folks may whine, but they will still throw money at it.

If the teams are REALLY concerned about racism and discrimination, they should move quickly toward player ratios which mirror society - about 70% white, 15% black, 15% Latino. And likewise for staff.

the only lack of fans was that all the NFL stadiums can only be filled to 20% of capacity..IF that was a regular season(and i mean during a regular year) that would have been sold out..it technically was a sellout as all AVAILABLE tickets were sold which was like 14-17K

it was to capacity for what they could have that was a sellout..all of the 14-17K tickets available were sold..had it been a normal year it would have been a sellout

Ok seriously now.....are people asking this as if they didnt know...there are ONLY like 6 or 7 stadiums early on that are allowing fans at all...all the rest will have no crowds..and of the ones allowing fans its 15-20% of capacity. thats the ONLY reason for the crowds looking low..they are because they are at 20% of capacity because of this Covid ****.

The only thing that sold out last night was the NFL.

I know but my point was people are saying look at all the empty seats...and they seem to be doing so legitimately(aka not being sarcastic) and i was just saying..you know...its 20% of capacity thats how its supposed to look at 20%...and that said it was a sellout and it also would have been sold out if it was a regular year....

when crowds look like that and its a regular season game in a regular season then you can say mission accomplished lol.

If they really wanted to make a difference then they'd have stayed home. But sportsball > principle.

I'm really glad they only sold 16,000 tickets. Did they limit the amount of seats sold? Hit them where it hurts.
