2nd degree?, LO ****ing L. What a bunch of bull****.
Ok. The police officer was arrested. Charged with murder. Charges have been upgraded. He will be tried before a jury of his peers, if he does not first plead guilty with the approval of the Court.
So what are the riots for?
That has already been reported. She wants both houses. She wants all kinds of assets etc. She is trying to get it through court into her name before it can be tied up.
Doubt it will work.
That med examiner is with Hennepin County, who also concluded manner was homicide. Two highly-regarded docs (Baden, Wilson) hired by Floyd family: cause was mechanical asphyxia, manner was homicide.
Was that dude an ongoing threat requiring such restraint for nearly nine minutes? He was unresponsive after five.
I don’t think second degree will fly. Ellis is grandstanding and pandering.
The prosecutor has all the evidence.
We've seen only a portion of it.
My guess if he upgraded the charges there is a reason.
Batten down the hatches when murder 2 gets dropped or pleaded to manslaughter or murder 3.
Round 2 of riots. Right around Election Day. The riots will be concentrated in vital swing states like Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, etc. keeping voters from turning out or using it as an excuse for mail in ballots.
This presupposes Kieth Ellison is an impartial, objective servant of the law. Which he isn’t. He’s an anti-white communist activist who’s has slithered his way to Minnesota’s AG.
I don't personalize things.
At a minimum the prosecutor has already gotten a verdict of murder on another cop. (btw, the other cop was black)
The impression is that he upgraded them because he was pressured to and to appease the rioters.
Sure, put all your faith in Keith Ellison.
Possibly he made a rational decision, possibly he didn't. We will know in the future.
The same people wi riot if he loses, too.
Probably not. Once he was charged, any asset in his name given to her can probably be challenged as a fraudulent conveyance.
He is. So I doubt he'd risk losing a case against a racist white cop. The state's lawyer that loses the Floyd murder case? No, he doesn't want to be THAT guy. He's looking to get appointed US Attorney General.
My bet will be a late October innocent verdict and then we can have mail in ballots cause rioting... or something similar.
There is consequence free junk to steal. Thats about it.
I'll take that bet.
The loser donates an agreed upon amount to the charity of the winner's choice.
Or cry and scream at the sky.
Well he is innocent until proven guilty right
How can this officer get a fair trail. It will be interesting.
Also interesting will be how affective his attorney will be.
If I were placing Vegas odds,
I’d say he goes to trail.
Have to wonder if his defense will push to change venues? There is no way you can expect an impartial jury in Minneapolis.
Better yet, hope for a plea deal with the DA for a lesser charge, but i doubt Ellison would ever consider that given how'd it look, plus he wouldn't want to betray his antifa and BLM brethren.

The Antifa attorney general is in charge of the prosecution.
With Ellison as MN Attorney General, we may find that institutional racism we keep hearing about.
