Ok, so I dropped my cell phone today. No big deal right? We all drop our phones from time to time and this time the drop was only a couple inches. Actually, big deal indeed. As soon as it hit it turned off and then wouldn't turn back on, no matter how many times I tried. Tried plugging it in and nothing happened. Removed the battery and plugged in and suddenly it would come on just enough to tell me that the battery wasn't present. If I kept it plugged in and then put the battery in, I could turn the phone on normally but as soon as I unplugged it the whole thing would shut off again. I went through this cycle a number of times until I finally got the phone to stay on on its own. I had it on for 30 or so minutes, received a call and about 2 minutes in the phone shut off again. It instantly rebooted and came back on but now it will just randomly either reboot or just turn off and won't turn on for a period of time. It's a Motorola T720C. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. It keeps going through these periods where it seems like it's working fine and then suddenly goes back to deciding it doesn't want to play nice at all. I'm assuming I just have to get it serviced or replaced but it would be great if you guys had any tips that might try and fix it at home.
