Head's up y'all.
Who on Gods green earth doesn't have at least 50k primers stuffed away by now? Hell, I still have some left from before the AWB of '94.
Must just be new guys...
Yeah, it's us new guys.
I ordered another 30k
Yeah, and primers weren't banned then either. Just sayin'....
Yes but consider al lit would take is an exec order to ban interstate shipping of "hazardous mat'l" & primers are going to be non existent or very expensive. It's the problem w/ the gys like Obama, they get all kingly & start going around the constitution. He's done it before, why not again & again? Without primers, you do NOT reload, so having more than you need certainly can't hurt. They are only going to get more expensive like everything else as this admin devalues the US $$.

Stopped by Bass Pro after lunch today. They had primers for a little under $50 per thousand or $5 per hundred.
Wow they must have been on SALE.

hi tech has them as well order 30k and they will wave the hazmat fee
Today I dropped by WalMart to buy another box of shotgun primers (loading 10 ga blackpowder blanks), and they had loads of primers $3.20 per 100. We sure aren't seeing the panic here!
Small pistol primers at Sportsman's Warehouse are 31 bucks a thousand. I just picked up a box yesterday.
We need to form a co-op to manufacture our own GT primers. Of all countries, why hasn't supply risen to meet demand during the last few crisis cycles - how hard can it be to tool up for primers? Local hazmat permits yes, but I don't even think you need federal licensing.
I just ordered 10k. I was offered an opportunity to join a circle of buyers and even though I really didn't need any, I wanted to cement my position with them. $25/k is what I was paying 20 years ago, so I figured "what the heck" and got in on their quarterly ordering.
There is no primer shortage.
Only source I go to for # 41's for my AR
I hereby nominate PsycoKnight to be the leader of the GT Primer Manufacturing Co-op.
Do I hear a second?
I have the property in sunny southeastern Colorado! Let's do it!
BTW I ordered 10K primers. Thanks for the heads up.
