Opinions needed thanks! It seems to me white looks better longer.
What's the grout color if not an insert?
What color tile if any?
What color showerhead/faucet?
Existing caulk or a re-caulk job?
White tile with off white grout. The fixtures are brushed nickel.
I'm installing a new shower door. So the caulk will be 100% new.
Clear doesn't dry as clear as you'd think so depending on the size and length of bead you're running, white often times looks better when it's all said and done.
What color sneakers is he wearing?
1) I hate clear silicone for several reasons.
Hate that schitt.
2) PolySeamSeal is the best white Tub & Tile caulking that I've found.
Contains a mildewcide and stays white longer than the competition.
Put a dollar bill next to it..................................
Match the grout color, if a tiled shower.
I used clear on a backstop behind a kitchen sink once. When done, I said "that looks stupid AF", peeled it off and put white on it. I will say, it does hold well.
Hire someone that knows WTF they are doing and you don't need any caulk on your shower door.
All it will do is help mold grow -
I gave up on regular caulk or silicone.
Loctite PL Marine Sealant is fantastic.
Gotta use something as a sealant there are just too many gaps.
They say that once you go black you never go back.
I install shower doors for a living. Clear caulk. A very thin bead inside and out. Less is more
Lexel clear. Dries clear and stays clear. Try a test piece. Best stuff I ever used. https://www.sashco.com/products/lexel/
I say bright pink.
Some where there is a SJW having a full melt down over this.
