How 'long' was the fun, though??

I got into a mess of Wipers a couple years back, none over 10" or so, but, my, oh, my, were they fun!! C & R'd all of em, but I'll bet in an hours time, I caught 25 of the buggers!

Was using a fly rod and a Drake's wounded minnow fly. Fun.

On an inexpensive, flippy little Zebco Ultralight underspin rig, a 4-5" bass will give you some fun.

Those 1/2-3/4 lb. bluesgills will really fight.

The day was hardly a total loss. Between three of us we divided up over 30 sunfish all caught off a dock using bream poles and crickets...and cigars with ice cold beer. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon! ;f
