Average 7 cases of plague per year in the US. I did not know that.

Notice in the article how the State public health vet checked the pet dogs too.

A man with a tat, got in between a cat and its rat, while he was not wearing a hat. The flea had no problem biting a rat, or a cat, or the man with a tat.

I personally know three people who've been diagnosed with cat scratch fever. One managed to get herself clawed by a DEAD cat when she was getting it up out of her yard -- roadkill stray.

    Cats can be deadly. Evidently.

    Here....right now.
Plague sucks, but fortunately it is cured quickly these days with cheap antibiotics What person tries to take a food source from a starving feral cat?

The poor guy has septicemic plague, which is worse than mere bubonic plague. It is usually a death sentence.

So, I personally think it is in extremely poor taste to be making jokes about the guy's condition.

Am I a little touchy? Yes I am.

I also had the septicemic plague. I survived, but with both legs amputated due to gangrene.

Since you took it upon yourself to jump on this boat, I'm going to take it upon myself to sink it for you.

First of all, you are reaching really hard for something offensive to complain about this time. I know just how hard you look for "offensive" things as it is...

Not one thing was said about this poor guy. Me, the only one in this thread who made any jokes (by the way, thanks for calling me out publicly), was talking about someone I personally know who caught cat scratch fever, specifically one who caught it from a dead cat...who happens to find it hilarious, too.

Of course, if I had beaten the black death like you, I would be thanking my lucky stars that I was alive instead of looking for **** to ***** about but then again, I'm a pretty laid back person who isn't bitter nor holier-than-thou about my accomplishments, wealth and luck . ;)
