RPK, does Dantley still get to come out to the office with you?
No. I brought him up for a short time a few months back but he was quite bored. I think he just wanted to go back to the house to harass the others. It was nice when he was little because Ebbie hadn't showed up yet and it gave Sage a reprieve from him when he was up here.
One of the last times he was up here, he got into some serious trouble.
I had gone to the house for something and as I came back into the office, he was on top of this book case and decided to go head first down the triangle shaped hole behind it. He got stuck head down about halfway down. I dont know what would have happened if I didnt come back when I did or couldn't find him for some time.
He would also spend lots of time in the fireplace up here...
Yet another reason to add to my "I hate people in general" list. Good on you and your wife for taking them in. Some folks should be strung up by their thumbs. My Piglet (at an estimated 10-12 weeks old) was dropped in the street in front of my friend's house by some scumbag. Fortunately we happened to be on his front step BSing and one of the group saw it. I went down and she came right to me, too tight flea collar and huge umbilical hernia and all. That was in 2014, and she's a total sweetheart. I only hope she was the only one he tossed that day, and that there weren't others before or after her. I wonder how some people sleep at night.
Sylvie is awesome! Love her - such character! It's great (though not surprising) to hear that she's flourishing with you guys, RPK. She's a very lucky girl.
<Edit to add - Dantly is a piece of work, huh? Good thing you were there when he went spelunking behind that bookcase! He does a good log impression, too.>
The holdout kitten at the old trailer who wouldn't come eat with the others was second to the plate today, then tore into the Friskies.
Hunger won out.
One of the kittens, a Siamese mix female has decided she likes me just fine. She likes being petted as much as eating. Purrs like a straight pipe Harley. When she sees me now, she comes running to be petted and have her head rubbed.
Just noticed this one! Looks like you gotta little manx in the mix.
We have tailless manx mix as well.
In the summer I wet down some cool spots. The cats love it.
Leroy isn't a normal cat. She was born with CH. Not a severe case, but she is rather clumsy and can't run or jump too well.
I like to nap in the afternoon out in my workshop where there is a bed and no phone. Leroy only has one jump; about four feet in the air and a plop down. She has a war cry she always makes when she jumps. I'll be just about asleep when I hear the war cry and Leroy plops down on my belly or chest. I pet her a bit and she jumps back down, her work aggravating me complete.
I love this!
She's a cutie, too!
Mr. G, relaxing on the cat tree:
Well I just found this while searching for other stuff...
Yawn!! Nap time...

Great pictures, Pat!
Mr g is cool. Where'd the name come from?
Thanks, RPK! If you take enough, some are bound to come out, right?
I named him Gilmore after Roscoe Turner's lion. Was trying to think of something aviation related, and thought that fit (a bit, at least) with him being an orange tabby.
Crazy Ebbie with the devil eyes up in her diva bed...
We have so many pictures of our other cats and Ebbie is always a little creeper off in the corner
That's a great shot! Looks like some malevolent entity observing and waiting for the proper moment to strike!
