So so funny.
I've posted here before about my Kitty's asthma diagnosis and the meds she is on.
We finished the steroid course and her coughing has not returned, and we are still on terbutaline daily. She's not a bad pill taker, but one day I tried mixing her pill with food (never worked before). Worked like a charm.
Awhile back we ran out of wet food, so I tried whipped cream. Just a pea sized drop to mix the pills in that I powder between 2 spoons. I don't think dairy is great for cats but this is such a tiny amount I don't worry.
She sits and begs for it like a dog, howling in anticipation. It's pretty adorable and makes me happy since pilling can be stressful and this takes it away.
good tip! I'll try to remember that one

Just some glamour shots. I've brushed an entire cat from Leila the past few weeks
Wherever it’s comfortable...they were tired from playing “let’s knock those white caps that cover the toilet bowl bolts under the sink”. I fished them out with a yardstick and also found a water bottle cap, chapstick and a mouse toy.
True, though with mine it would likely be from a broken neck after falling down the stairs trying to avoid stepping on one that has unexpectedly paused while going down ahead of me. You'd think they would keep going when something more than 10x heavier than they are was right behind them, but no, like idiot drivers in front of 18 wheelers on the highway, they like to go at erratic speeds and throw in the occasional brake check for fun.
Ain't it the truth. I've never figured out why they will still do it even after getting a foot stepped on. I walk around the house saying "get out of the way, get the f word out of the way".
Right? And the worst 'offender' here is Ghost, the former feral who is finally (4+ years on) starting to come out of her shell. She now hangs out in my office by the chair (where I'm afraid I'll roll on her), and likes to take a jerky point position when I get up to walk anywhere, with frequent pauses and looks back up at me. It's both awesome to see and aggravating as hell, as I've nearly fallen trying not to step on her several times in the past few weeks. They are inscrutable creatures for sure.
My son is the only one in the house that can do this with Figaro. If that were me, I'd have a dozen bandaids on my hands afterwards.
