From the looks of his face, probably a 10mm round that just missed. Look at the damage. :tongueout::rofl::rofl:

Good one. Too bad he missed. Remember folks, center of mass. Zipper on up. Save the state some money.

NEVER threaten a man with delaying him long enough to let his chicken get cold!

It's 2 to the chest BEFORE you go for the head shot. Sounds like the shooter could use some more training.

He could have half hipped the shot & aimed too high.

If he's threatening me with a box cutter, absolutely I'd have shot him.

Yep, I can see it now, the robber will lie and say he was just going to get somthing to eat and forgot about the box cutter in his hand. Now it will go to court and cost the state $100,000, and be one persons word against another.

Church's chicken? Give the man the dead bird. Now if he wanted my Popeye's...no way! The fight is on!

Although shot placement could have been better, I'm glad that the victim was ok. Score one for the good guys.

Considering adrenalin and this possibly being the first time he's ever been in this situation I think his shot placement was just fine. From my comfy chair I won't critique a situation where I would be so lucky to act according.

I would shoot in a heartbeat. Worked to many cases where someone was cut to shreds with a box cutter.

On another note, a man was executed 7 days ago in Alabama for a crime he committed in 1986 with a .22 handgun.

Looks like the perp took a serious faceplant. I wonder if that happened when he got shot, or at the time of his arrest?
