I am sure everyone has had a car slide through their hands and they now wish they never got rid of it. Mine are:

-My first car, an 86 Monte Carlo with the 4.3 V6. This thing was no slouch, but due to a bad transmission, I had to part with it. Still wish I had it so I could drop a 350 into it.

-My '99 Escort. While it was a little sore on the eyes, it only left me stranded once, in our drive way. After the 5-Speed manual took a dump I had it rebuilt and it still ran good. Wish I still had it because it was tough as nails.

My car now is an '06 Kia Spectra. I have been fairly impressed with it. Its quick, doesn't have a slushbox, gets decent gas mileage, and doesn't look too bad.

Share yours, pics are cool too...

My Early Broncos are the ones I wish I had never let get away. I had a bone stock 77 and then, over the course of five years, and many thousands of dollars later, built a 74 trail rig. So much of my blood, sweat, and tears went into building this Bronco. I built it from the ground up starting with a bare frame. Like a colossal idiot, I traded it for a boat. My neighbors were happy to see it go though. It would rattle the windows of the houses around me when I started it.

I also wish I had kept my 77 Stingray. I bought it to fix and flip, which I did. However, I miss cruising in the summer with the t-tops stowed away. Granted, it wasn't terribly fast (mild 350), but it was a lot of fun.

That's my old Mustang in the background. Kind of wish I had held on to that one as well.

My first car, a 1938 Chevy Master Deluxe 4 door sedan. I courted my wife in that car.

I sold it when my first child was 3. My wife convinced me we needed the money.

I had an 87 Isuzu pickup that I traded for an 89 Ford Escort. I regret that decision. It was a good little truck and the Escort caught on fire the day before I left for basic training. Oh well that was when I was a young, broke student.

I wish I never sold this beast. The a/c broke and I thought I needed to have a car that got better gas mileage? Now I realize that I need a 4x4 with lots of room for my guns and bug out gear!!!

I also miss my 91 RX7 that had a Ford Mustang GT 4.6L V8 swapped into it. It had working a/c and was California CARB legal. The only RX7 V8 CARB stickered in the state of California. I sold it for $9,000 cash to get that 4x4 lol. It ate Honda civics and Integras for breakfast daily!!!!

Although I truly feel that it is rediculous for anyone to spend as much money on a car, and that being the reason I got rid of it... a big part of my soul left when I sold this car. '98 911 TT... the last run of the hand built, air cooled 911s
