Carrying shells

    If you really think you need more than ten rounds of buckshot - they get an AR or AK with 30 round mags.

    Hard for me to imagine a situation where you need to fire 25 rounds of 12 gauge -AND- where an AR or AK wouldn't be a better choice over a shotgun.

    But if someone can give me a realistic scenario when a 12 gauge > AR when you have so many targets it takes 25 rounds to handle I would like to hear it.

    Right, but a basic load out is still going to be more than a side saddle and what's in the tube for anything I'd want a SG for outside the home.

    I keep an M-16 7 pocket bandolier.

    It holds 7 five round packs without problem.

    I use different brands of ammo for identification.

    Winchester buckshot come in white or silver packs.... Remington slugs come in green boxes.

    It makes id. easier.

    Have some on order, but no actual experience with shell cards. But from what I have seen and read, I'm sold on 'em.
