I carry till I walk in the door. Then I set my gun down and usually spend 5 minutes the next morning trying to remember where I put it.

I carry from the time I get up until bed while in the shower its on the sink while sleeping its next to my night stand. My wife and I both carry like that..

I am usually carrying a firearm. If I am at home though I usually have one near me.

My uncle has not been without his gun for the last 17 years. He only disarmed when he was taken to the hospital after a car wreck. As soon as he was awake, before he asked for his wife or daughters or any family, he asked for his gun. He takes his personal safety very seriously. It is interesting to note the only time he enters condition white is when he is sleeping but otherwise he has not been in condition white in those same 17 years. He is in a constant state of condition yellow through red, depending on what is happening of course.

Mine is either on my body or within reach 24/7. It's only a gun if I can get my hands on it quickly. Otherwise, it was a waste of money.

Once in the house my carry goes in the safe. My couch (I sleep on a couch, long story) has a Kahr cm9 in a velcro holster, and my Mossberg 500 is within reach, so I have no need to carry unless I go outside again. In that case I usually drop the Kahr in my pocket.

I cannot carry at work, so as soon as I am off it hits my waist. And it doesn't move until I get into bed at night. If I could carry at work I would. I am looking for a pocket pistol for just that reason, most likely an LC9.

I carry until i'm at the house for good. I then put my gun on top of my bible on my night stand and change into gym shorts and a hoodie. I also have a loaded shot gun that is closer to the family room.

I carry my G17 fully loaded on me in the daytime, and then it sleeps next to me in my bed. You NEVER know when you'll need it. And NO ADs with me, either with my ****** safety device.

Keep a gun somewhere in the room I am most always in, yes. If I actually felt a need to carry a gun at home I would get different house residents and/or a stronger front door.
