Ever since my truck broke down, the wife and I are down to one car. In the interest of saving money on gas and a new vehicle, we are now carpooling....
All I have to say is, I miss the quiet drive to work....and having a car payment is worth it....

LOL...nothing like those quiet moments where it's just you, singing along to the easy listening on the radio, meandering through traffic and relaxing on your way to the daily grind. I'm sure you'll miss them.

My wife and I work for the same company and for 2 years were in the same office building.

    We drove in seperate vehicles.

For most of those 2 years, nobody knew we were married to each other even though we were about 50 feet apart in cubicles.

I carpool to work and I'm loving the money I'm saving on gas and oil changes.

Plus when we get behind idiots on the road, there's always an interesting exchange.

I carpooled with the wife when I worked downtown, and actually enjoyed it. Then we moved and I can no longer do that. But my wife is not a big yapper to begin with, thankfully.

For 8 months my wife and I carpooled @3 hours a day. We were house hunting and staying at my Mom's to avoid a short term rental. The commute was a dream compared to having your Mom & Wife under the same roof:)

My wife and I have been carpooling together since January, 2003.
What's worse. . . she works TEN FEET away from me. . . directly across the hall!!!!:wow:

For the last year and half, she's been working late on Tuesday and Thursday, so, we have to take two cars to work.

Oh, how I love Tuesday and Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!:tongueout:

Four the past fourteen years, the wife and I usually get to share a quick coffee together before walking out the back door and crossing the yard to the shop were we work together all day long running a business. HH
