Driver of the #19 in Sprint Cup, Carl Edwards announced in a press conference today he was hanging up his helmet. Wonder what is really going on? He came close to winning the Sprint Cup Championship last November at Homestead, only to be involved in a crash (his fault) with Joey Logano. He is suddenly retiring now that we are about 6 weeks away from the kickoff of the 2017 season at Daytona. His replacement is Daniel Suarez, just crowned Xfinity champion in November. Daniel is a native of Mexico, and Nascar is eager to expand its fan base.
