Someone is always putting up a link to a vidio on General Non-Glocking and I cannot view it.
I have Windows 98 and am computer illiterate.
Had Windows Media Player, Quick Time F, Quick Time Player, and deleted them all as nothing worked.
The best I ever got was a couple of frames..then freeze!
    What would you suggest?

In Windows 98 there is flaw where "Disk Cleanup" doesn't work and after a while the temp files get too full.Download and install Ccleaner,

Did as you said on the CCleaner_slim but after re-booting and continuing received this:

Could not find VB6 Runtime files installed on your computer.
Without them you cannot install CCleaner.
Would you like to visit Microsoft website to download it?

    YES

    THEN__The page cannot be displayed.

You can create a new folder or just save the downloads in My Documents or even save to your Desktop.Just someplace you can locate them. Then double click them to open and run them.

The important thing is to "Save" the downloads, don't try to install the programs directly from the internet.

Successfully loaded VB6 but the computer STILL does not recognize that it's there, so Ccleaner won't proceed! Rats!

You can try some older versions but I think you might just have to reboot/restart the PC.Make sure it's being installed and not just saving the download.

try these older versions first in o rder,

If you have anti virus running try switching it off while installing new programs.

Tried again to install Ccleaner and this time it worked. It appears as icon AND a folder on desktop. However can't seem to make it work (clean).

Try rebooting the PC first. Then if still doesn't work just double click the installer again and reinstall it over what's installed.Maybe your hard drive is too full. But try a reboot first.
