Ok... so I'm posting this here because I figure the responses will be more impartial given that this is a Glock forum and the next gun I'm considering is now a pocket gun (smaller than the 26/27/33). I've narrowed it down to 2 guns... well, maybe open to other suggestions, but so far the two I'm considering: Ruger LCP Sig P238 The Ruger is, well, a great deal for the money. It's accurate, small, and durable. It's approximately $350. The Sig is another level of gun. My trouble is this... is it worth paying $180 more for the Sig? The reasons I think it may be worth it: 1) I'd actually enjoy shooting it as opposed to a chore to shoot like the Ruger or Keltec type pocket guns that are just for protection and minimal practice. 2) You get what you pay for. I almost never regret paying the extra money for quality like that. 3) The almost 1911 style trigger and gun is appealing. thoughts? I'm leaning towards the Sig at this point. Others I've sort of considered: The Taurus TCP (supposed to be a decent gun actually) Walther PPK - just the appeal of it... always liked Keltec Kahr - same money as the Sig and I like the Sig better.
