Having trouble all the sudden when trying to burn a CD using XP and Windows media

I have burned this particular CD before so i know it can be done on this computer.

I get "not enough space" or some other message like this when i hit burn.

Should i delete Media Player 9 and 10 then reinstall?? I cannot find where to uninstall though??

Any other programs i might can download to help??

    Thx...

How much free space do you have on your HD?

Are you sure that CD is blank?

I am a big fan of Nero, but there are some freeware programs out there like Deep burn that WDC suggested and CD Burner XP Pro. Here’s the link to CD burner XP pro:

Sounds like the CD didn't have enough space but CD burning does involve copying the files to the hard drive and then to the CD so hard drive space can come in to it too. Some people like CD burner XP pro.It doesn't work with a lot of CD burners and it usually requires installing Microsoft NET ,which is a huge resouce hogging program. The developer said he nows has a work around but I haven't gotten it to work.I think Windows Media Player 10 has CD burning but I'm not certain if WMP 9 does or not.Deep Burner works well for me and it's fairly easy to use.

After you install the program you should have a desktop icon or be able to make one for Deep Burner.Click it or open the program, you get a choice of "data" or "audio" or "iso".Choose "audio" I and then click the small box to the right of "browse".It will show the hard drive "C" or "documents" or something, just keep clicking through the files to the one with the files you want to burn to CD.

I had to turn on my Windows PC to see how it looks. For Audio click the first box top left after clicking "Next".It is "add tracks".
