After watching the pawn stars episode where they are firing the "thunder mug" signal cannon, I have an itch to find one and play with it. It would also be fun to find a regular blank cannon to play with. Anyone have any cannons?

South Bend Replicas makes and sells them.
Also has Cannon barrels from .50 cal to full size firing models.

    I found this one

    http://www.pyrocreations.com/inc/sdetail/28974

From that information I could make two of them for half the price they are selling them for. The material stock is $38 for 12" and one of my dad's friends has a lathe.

That looks like the old signaling cannons ships used to use when they came into port.
