Just like the title says - do you forfeit your Man Card if you play Candy Crush? What says the membership committee of GT (aka, judges)? This is a good time for you to come clean about your possible addiction.

I play it. Yes, the theme they chose is girly, but I enjoy playing.

It's just a puzzle game/time waster. I don't really think about the theme or look of it. They took an existing type of puzzle game, tarted it up a bit, and sell the hell out of it. Good for them.

Anyone who is going to judge me based on a stupid little smart phone game I play when I'm taking a crap is too stupid to worry about what they think.

 Okay, why did this reply remind me of him?

And yes, I admit it....I play the darn game! It's chicky, I know. My daughter was playing it and I taunted her about the game. Then she challenged me to see if I could get to a higher level. Level 97 now....yes, the darn game is addictive

I'm hooked, working level 50 now. Wife got me into it. Hint: you can get double the lives playing on your phone and facebook on your computer.

So, I rode my wifes tail about the wasted time she was spending on the game. I was also challenged as was jdavionic and now I am a frequent crusher! Level 201 for me and the wife.

The makers of the game became Sadists when they made the whirling chocolate machines and the bombs you have to destroy within a certain amount of moves.

Asked the wife what it was and got a 30 min lecture on how awesome it was, she said whenever she is up at 2am or has any free time she is playing it. She loaded it up for me while at dinner and I played it for a couple of minutes and gave it back, not my kind of game, but I could see how you can get hooked.

I was doing a level or two a day. Once I got to 175 ish, I would get stuck on a level for a day or two and then once I passed it, I then go three or four in one life. It was a week and a half of trying to pass 200. They just get ridiculous.

BUT, we have never spent any money to buy lives or move to next zones. I am hardly playing anymore, but my wife is on it as I type this.

I hate after so many levels you have to pay a dollar or annoy people on Facebook for something that lets you plan on, anyway of getting around that?

None that I know of. I don't have a facebook account so there's only one option for me.

Color blind. Can't do it. I have a bejeweled knockoff that has symbols on the tiles. I like that, but it isn't that addicting.

I still haven't perfected surfing porn. No way I'm going to start playing games on the cell phone.

Ok I went and checked it out with my MacBook. Looks like BeJeweled or whatever it's called except candy instead of jewels. Beats looking up how to make incendiary devices or poisons to harm innocents like some kind of cowardly lunatic. Perfectly harmless pastime. Man card intact.
