Can you SS your USP Slide like a Glock?

    I know you can take some light grade sandpaper and take the black off of a Glock to give it a SS slide. Can you do the same to a USP? I don't really intend to do this, but who knows, I might get bored one day. And the SS slides run waaay too much these days.

    Second question: What's it take to convert a USP9 to USP40?

    Technically I guess you could do this, but it would look terrible!

    Q2:
    No. You would need a complete slide. The .40 slide is a lot havier.

    You could get the slide refinished to look just like stainless for well under $100 by CCR. I'd look into that before I got out the sandpaper. I did that to a G22 and hated the way it turned out.
