Me too. I was looking for a head poping up over a rock. didnt realize the large scale.
Took me a damn long time to spot it
Wow, took forever to find the first one, but two ?
Now I count seven? Poor camera man.
Found it! I wonder if the mountain lions actually know how well they are camouflaged?
That is an awesome picture. I couldn't see it at first, but I got distracted and when I looked again, I saw it right away.
Beautiful beast that is...
I found him after looking for a while. I orginally though he was just rock at first. Awesome natural camoflague.
Thanks for the photo!
I found 8 too.
Only could find one in the origional though
Yeah seriously. Should have guesses she was reeeeeealllly far back for that one.
Notice how they are all looking in the same exact manner (body posture), none have a mouth open, they all look exactly the same?
Yeah... I figured it out after revisiting the origional.
I took a jet boat trip from Lewiston, ID up the snake river to Hells Canyon Dam. It's amazing how animals are camo'd in their natural environment. My wife was spotting rams that I couldn't see until sitting down later and studying the photos.
It makes me wonder how close I've walked to animals and not known about it
Once I spotted the lion in Vart's original it was easy to find the other seven. Good PS work, mhambi.
Now, can anyone see the Canyon Wren in the picture?
There was a news story here last year about a mountain lion sitting about 30' up in a tree next to a very popular hiking trail. Someone finally spotted him about 2pm, but they figure he had been there for quite a while, just watching the snacks go by...
Another vote for 9!
It's a schooner.....
