Can someone recommend a good range bag?

Hope this is the right forum for this..

Wondering if someone can recommend a good range bag that wont cost me an arm and a leg. My only two pistols (as of now) are a G26 and G23, and I usually take them both to the range. I usually carry one in my holster but put the other in its case, then carry 2 ammo boxes and a thing of targets. Im running out of hands. Id like to keep everything in one if possible.

Thanks fellas

Go Anaheim Ducks!!

I've heard good things about the Midway bags too... here is what I bought last NOV (was on sale for $46 when I picked it up)... love it so far:

My range bags are old Skil saw cans. Fully carpeted interiors and flat black on the outside. I use two when I go, so it's an even match. Ammo, hearing/eye protection, and tools in one and up to 7 pistols in the other. Targets go under my arm, so it's one trip from car to bench and I'm done.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.....:whistling:

I saw a guy not too long ago that carries everything in a Walmart AR 15 case. He has his 3 pistols on one end and everything else from thereafter. Pistols are in cutouts in the foam...a really nice job. I thought it was kind of cool.

I got my large Midway USA range bag several years ago. It has held up, just like new. Very reasonably priced. Lots of room. Highly recommended.

Seeing your a Lions fan, I assume you live in Michigan and/or Midwest-which leads me to believe you may have a Menards or Fleet Farm close by. Bucket boss bakes a brown and green tool bag cheap but well put together. Have been using one for years toting around guns and ammunition without a problem. Maybe $20?

Midway. I have both the big and little one. I overfill the big one and naturally feel under packed with the smaller one. Either bag is perfect for the price! Enjoy.

I travel light with a G30 and a 60-10 or 640-1 in an NRA "Super Mini" bag, $50, 11x9x8. Lot of zippered pockets hold guns, ammo, mags, screwdriver, leatherman, markers, binder clips, ear muffs, goggles, band-aids, gloves, range ID, etc.
It's a rare range visit when someone doesn't need to borrow something.
And the embroidered NRA logo on the bag is "cool."

This topic seems to come up every few months or so.
I always make the same recommendation but no one seems to take it seriously.

Very interesting - I am now thinking of upgrading to this.

Once or more this has been essentially what has been my "range bag" - or a similar one from Publix.

I bought a GPS Tactical Range Backpack last year & abolutely love it. If you are looking for something like a backpack, vs a duffel bag, this is the perfect thing. It can easily carry 3 pistols, each in their own rug with room for tons of mags. It has tons of room for everything, & is extremely organized. I can get 500- almost 1000 rounds of ammo in it as well, depending on what exactly Im shooting, plus my eyes, ears, tape, tools & spare parts, & tons more, & it all fits in a small pack on my back. Cannot beat it in my opinion.
