I just sent you 4000 dollars. It is not a loan, it is an investment. I'll let you know what you have to do for it later.

That's going to sit a while in that caliber. I wouldn't pay half that.

Unless it's a special model only built in the caliber and is in some demand, 40S&W kills collector value.

In your dreams. Ok, I'll bite, you buy me a Best Grade Holland & Holland double in 577 Nitro and I'll buy you the Browning. Don

You'd think the owner could at least spell "cylinder" correctly...

I'm with bac, not in 40 and not for half that. Before I got too excited I'd see what C&S would build me one for.

That loan would lead to a bail out. I dont like bail outs.

Long-slides are so ugly looking that I love them.

That's beautiful, love the length and caliber.

We could make a lot of dream guns come true if we all put in 10 dollars in you pay pal until you hit 4k. We could do this once a month and the person would need to provide pictures as documentation of the purchase. I'm next and will start shopping now. Merica'

I liked my .40 HP and I regret selling it now. Having said that I want nothing to do with a long slide HP. The HP is a nice concealment gun but is still bog enough to shoot well. That thing is maybe a target gun or a hunting gun. There are probably better choices for both those roles. The only thing going for it is the fact it is likely one of a kind.

You could always find an Browning GP Competition if you want a long barreled Hi Power. They're a bit ugly, but they shoot great. FN built them for just a few years and value is really headed north.

Unlike the Gunbroker model, its in the correct caliber and will rise in value.

I'd love to, but earlier today I found out I need to come up with $625,000 for a guitar.

I will. I have a Nigerian friend that has offered to get involved. We just need some information on your bank account to wire the money to you.

I'm sure it would be a great shooter in either caliber.

One of a kind is exactly why I want it.
