    Only if you have one of the rare 23's that is chambered for .45 or 10mm. There is one on the same page for .40.

    I think he is suggesting the use of the standard 10mm/.45 release as opposed to spending large amounts of money for an aftermarket extended .40 release. However, since Glock makes an extended .40 release and sells it for the same price as the standard 10mm/.45 release, why would you want to do that?

    Maybe when he made the video Glock was not selling an extended release for the .40 ??? He sure seems pleased with his little known secret.

    However, what you originally asked was whether the extended release for the .45/10mm would work, and although it might function, that would be really long.

    I have had Kydex holsters that actually will activate the normal mag release-- just be sure that the mag button is not activated by your body movements
