My mom had a can of old bug spray explode in a cabinet, crap went everywhere. I've tried using 409, greased lightning, Dawn, TSP, bleach nothing seems to get the residue off.

Any ideas, of course this is the one room that has no airconditioning, very little ventilation, and it's hot already.

what kind of bug spray is it? If it exploded into a closed cabinet then most likely it has soaked into the wood and you will never get rid of the smell. You could maybe paint over it with latex paint or use some sort of sealant to seal the smell in.

Go to your local Dollar store. Pick up a bottle of L.A.'s Totally Awesome.

Follow the instructions and use it :)

Works great, non toxic, it was originally made to clean airplane interiors and is an awesome de-greaser. NO fumes either :)

I use it to clean cosmoline off mosin nagants
