These 2 photos are the only things I have to go on, can anyone name the manufacturer? Thanks in advance.

I was afraid of that. The guy claims it's a Spike's ST15 upper but from what I've seen on Google it didn't have the same markings on the barrel under the handguards.

It appears to be a 1/8 barrel with an "F" marked front sight base in an M4 configuration. I am sure somebody can figure this out.

    Lol.

He looked over the upper and couldn't find any more markings other than the 2 photos he sent me.

Thanks Danno, we can rule that one out then. It appears as though it's not a complete Spikes but just the lower.

That "F" on the front sight just means its a taller front sight for the flat top configuration... As I understand it. The older style uppers with the "carry handle" have shorter front sights.

These are the only 1-in-8 twist 5.56-chambered barrels in an M4 configuration that I can find. The Brownell's one is kind of weird; under "Manufacturer", they have n/a...

Green Mountain also makes a barrel in this configuration, but the marking don't match the markings called out in their print/drawing:

Looks like home build stuff. That ain't Spike's upper.

Yeah we've already ruled out Spikes for obvious reasons.

Thanks DJ, those are some more helpful clues too.

At least the upper has somewhat desireable features like chrome bcg, hpi/mpi bolt, m4 feed ramps, 556 1/8 twist chrome-lined barrel, double heat shield hand guards, and f marked fsb with taper pins. Now if we could only find out who makes it. Thanks again for everyone's input so far.

that BCG looks like Rock River chromed carrier that someone stuck an MPI bolt into. The RRA chrome complete BCG's come with a non-MPI chromed bolt carrier. The poor staking is my basis for this assumption. I'm not sure if there are any markings on there to positively identify it.

Thanks Bullitt, a few other forum members also guessed that the chrome carrier was by RRA but no one was certain.

Another member even said the MPI bolt looked just like his BCM. I still have no clue who makes what lol.

The staking on the gas key is identical to RRA's.
